Outdoor Way of the Cross

This past Good Friday, Canadian Martyrs parish in Carrot River hosted an interdenominational Outdoor Way of the Cross walk. About 30 gathered from not only the catholic church, but the Mennonite and United congregations as well. The Way of the Cross follows the path of Jesus on Good Friday, from His condemnation, His carrying the Cross to Golgotha, to His crucifixion. We stopped at 12 stations throughout the community, praying for different members and organizations: for example, we prayed for the elementary and high school students, and we prayed for the elderly outside the Care Centre.
